When it comes to iPhone photography you have many choices these days. To help you sift through all those apps here is a short list of my favorite apps. The categories for the Best Apps for iPhone Photography are Sharing, Editing, Shooting, Photo Blogging, Color Splash, Hip and Comic.
1. Sharing
The Best Camera app by Chase Jarvis is the best camera app for sharing. You can share to twitter, Facebook, TheBestCamera.com and email. The Best Camera app has sharing built in. Most apps these days have sharing built in but the best camera app was built around an ecosystem at TheBestCamera.com that allows sharing and feedback to happen like a social network just for iPhone photography.
2.Editing

This category was the most difficult. With so many great editing apps available it was very hard to choose just one. One app just has a little more than the others. PhotoForge2 has everything you need to edit on the go. You get Layer support, and that is huge! Layers on an iphone….Wow, awesome. The app supports editing in full resolution. Like most of the other apps you also get some really cool filters and sharing. Once you are done editing you can instantly pop those sweet shots up on Facebook and Twitter.
3. Shooting
Shooting using a third party app is a great idea if you are talking about Camera+. The development team over at Tap Tap Tap just Rocks when it comes to iPhone App innovation. At one point they had the app using the volume button as a shutter. What a great idea! If you are looking to buy one app and only one, then choose Camera+. You can shoot from within the app and you get the Rule of Thirds grid to help you get the perfect composition. You get filters, effects, and editing tools. You also get a sweet light table so you can browse all your photos in one place.
4.Photo Blogging
Tumblr is the best photo blogging app out there. Combined with a Tumblr blog you are a powerful mobile blogger. The app is intuitive and easy to use. It is not a just a photography app it is more of a blogging app but it rocks for Photo Bloggers.
5.Color Splash
Well the category and the name are the same. Color Splash is a effect of having a black and white image and one part is left in color. There is an app called Color Splash that is just for creating this cool effect. Get it and get color splashing.
6.Hipster
If you are a Hipster then you must have Hipstamantic in your iphone Photography Quiver. This app will have your photography glowing with hip vibes from now on. So you wanna make your shots look awesome and quickly share them with your hipster friends on Facebook then get Hipstamantic.
7.Comic
Half Tone is a printing technique that is used by Newspapers and loved by artists like Roy Liechtenstein. So if you want to be a Pop Photographer and make your photography look like a comic strip then check out Half Tone. We love this app for sharing fun speech bubble type shots.
With these seven apps you will be a Pro iPhone Photographer. Cheers.
