How To HDR with Photomatix Pro Part 1

How to make an HDR image using Photomatix Pro.  Photomatix Pro is in my opinion the best software for generating High Dynamic Range images.  This is a simple tutorial on using the software.

1. First you shoot your images to capture the dynamic range in your scene.  This can be from 3 to 20 image.  I do not see anyone shooting much more than 20 on any regular basis.

2. Once you have you images you can import them to Photomatix Pro.  When you open the software you will see a little box pop up like this:

3. Once you click Generate HDR you will see another box like this:


4. Choose the pictures that you have taken to make your HDR image.  The images I have chosen for this tutorial are:
